-designed and conducted the TSCA process audit and initiated the site audit by reviewing and organizing the documents and databases for PMNs, toxicity studies, imports, exports and etc.
-created for Sales and Marketing a coordinated and cost effective program to notify new chemicals in the North America and the Asia Pacific regions.

Technical expert and advisor ensuring that all products have the proper global regulatory credentials.
Due Diligence and Compliance:
-conducted the regulatory compliance due diligence audits on 12 potential acquisitions.  Assessed potential "red flags" and guaged the competency of the staff and programs.
-peformed TSCA site audits and process audits on five subsidiary companies and exercised the EPA Self Audit Policy in two instances, forgiving several millions of dollars of potential fines.
-assimilated 7 acquisitions into the corporate product safety and compliance milieu within 6 months, and increased global regulatory efficiency by more than 99%.
-negotiated a resolution to  nomenclature issues and marketing restraints with the EPA (TSCA 5e and 5f consent orders)
-developed a strategic corporate process to ensure government approval of more than 30 new products.
-as Subject Matter expert, evaluated and communicated emerging regulatory legislation for impact on product lines and business procedures.
Regulatory Advocacy:
-spearheaded the process and chemical nominations used in the Work Element I in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) New Chemcial Task Force.
-advocated for the use of the EU hazard classification system in the Tranfer of Notified Toxic Substances (NOTS) to the Environmental Management Authorities  (ERMA) in New Zealand, resulting in acceptance and implementation. 
-Acting Industry Co-Chair in the American Chemistry Council's International Regulatory Advocacy and Compliance Team (2000-2001)

Launched programs to register new and existing chemicals in all regulated  counties.  Reviewed all new products, processes and process changes for regulatory clearance before commercialization. 
-composed more than 40 global new chemical notification dossiers for submission to the regulatory authorities of the USA, Canada, European Union, Switzerland, Australia, Korea, Japan and the Philippines.
-gained a keen reputation as a "power user" of the Scientific and Technical Information Network (STN) databases providing on request the research and business communities with extensive literature searches.
-authored and published "The Worldwide Chemical Notification Processes and Lubrizol" which was distributed globally to all the business/marketing managers and department heads as a guide for understanding regulatory compliance and how it affected the business.
